Rest Is Part of the Process

Rest is not a sign of weakness, failure, or falling behind. It is often the very space where God restores, strengthens, and recenters you. In stretching seasons, rest is not wasted time... it is part of the process.

If I am being honest, rest has not always come naturally to me. I am the kind of woman who likes structure, control, and a plan from A to Z, so slowing down can feel uncomfortable. Fear, frustration, and the unknown can rise up quickly. But I am learning that rest is not the absence of progress. It is often where God meets me, steadies me, and reminds me that I do not have to carry everything on my own. Prayer has become the place where I take the battles I am not strong enough to fight by myself.
